Following an invitation from the European Commission, the LIFE AgriAdapt project participated in the forum “Seed Biodiversity as a Response to Climate Change” on the 23rd of September at the Terra Madre Salone del Gusto in Turin.

The main focus was how a diversity in seeds and plants is helping agriculture be more resilient to climate change in different parts of the world. Examples were given from India, Benin, Ecuador and Japan. Carolina Wackerhagen then presented how the LIFE AgriAdapt project is trying to promote these sustainable adaptation options in Europe.
