AgriAdapt will collaborate with 120 farmers all over Europe for 3 years in order to learn, test and support them in the implementation of adaptation solutions at farm level in a way that is as consistent with climate change mitigation as possible. The project will focus on the 3 most representative EU farming productions: arable crops, livestock production and permanent crops. Representative farms in each of the four main EU Climate Risk Regions will be selected and their resilience will be assessed. According to the result obtained, individual and specific adaptation measures will be suggested and discussed with farmers. All the information will be included in individual Action Plans, a roadmap with both short-term and long-term actions for addressing climate change successfully. Each year, the progress will be individually assessed and the tool will be used for evaluating the improvement achieved in terms of resilience.
