Following an invitation of the German Networking Agency for Rural Regions (DVS), Patrick Trötschler presented the project LIFE AgriAdapt at a conference on „Animal husbandry and climate change“ in Augsburg (04.-05.12.17). He explained the methodology of the project: how the vulnerability to climate change can be assessed at farm level with the help of crop yields and climate data/projections. With this information, sustainable adaptation measures can then be discussed and implemented on the pilot farms assessed in the project. First results will be available in spring 2018.

The participants and experts of the conference mainly came from public institutes and ministries.
