INRA, the French national institute for agricultural research, is the owner of an extraordinary robot. Its mission? Scan plants in order to better understand their characteristics and development processes.

On November 21st, LIFE AgriAdapt partners were invited to visit the experimental farm where the robot operates, in the outskirts of Toulouse. They were particularly interested in the robot’s ability to detect reactions to climate-related stress. The data produced by the robot will make it possible to identify which crop species can best adapt to a changing climate.
